One app for the whole club
Not one team at a time: schedule, changes, scores, payments and messages across the organization.
You run teams, a club or a league on TeamSnap and you are looking at an alternative. This is the practical version: what comes out, what we do with it, how fast the switch happens, and what your families will notice.
This is not a feature scorecard. It is what the move from TeamSnap to Sketchplay actually involves, written for the organization that has already decided to look.
Statements about TeamSnap refer to their public help center and terms, re-checked August 17, 2026.
TeamSnap documents its exports well. Take the organization-level ones; they are the only ones that carry custom fields.
| What you have on TeamSnap | How it comes out | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Rosters, members and contacts | Team roster to CSV from the Roster tab; organization members exported from the Members tab and emailed to you. Custom fields only in the organization export; photos are not included. | Imported once into one roster. Every family reachable from day one; nothing re-typed. |
| Registrations, fees and waivers | Registration reports export to CSV, with separate fee and waiver exports (emailed). Exports include only data entered at registration. | Registration and payment run as one flow on your own site; waivers signed inside it and stored on the roster. |
| Financials | Payments, deposits and outstanding reports export to CSV; long ranges are split into batches. Money itself does not migrate from any platform. | New payments run on your own Stripe account; payouts land in your bank directly. |
| Schedules | Team schedules export as CSV or iCal. | History imported as records. Future seasons come out of the AI Scheduler and re-solve when a field closes. |
| Your website and app | Nothing to export; it is theirs. | A branded site and app space, included with every plan. |
| Messaging lists | We could not find a documented list export; contacts come with the member export. | Text, email, push and in-app from the same roster. |
| The subscription | Pay-as-you-go, cancel any time, no prorated refunds; plans auto-renew until canceled through your account or a ticket. Club and league agreements may carry supplemental terms. | One flat monthly price by organization size, no per-team fees. |
Thirty minutes, your real season on screen. We tell you which exports to run (organization-level, with fees and waivers) and in what order; you run them the same day.
Members, registrations and history loaded; programs and payment plans set up; your site and app standing with your data on it. Days, not a season.
Open registration here while TeamSnap is still readable. When the first families are through, your domain moves and you cancel on your terms.
We do the migration. Not a guide you follow alone: our team runs the import with you and stays on the phone through your first registration and first event.
Scripted sample. Bring a real situation from your season and we will send it on the call.
Not one team at a time: schedule, changes, scores, payments and messages across the organization.
Dues, camps, tickets and merch on the same account.
A field closes; text, email, push and in-app go out from the roster in one send.
Tryouts, placement and the season run on one record per family.
Their help center documents CSV exports for team rosters and organization members (emailed to you), registration reports with separate fee and waiver exports, financial reports (payments, deposits, outstanding), and schedules as CSV or iCal. Registration exports only include data entered at registration, and long financial ranges are split into batches.
It matters for where the export lives. Single-team rosters export from the team's Roster tab; organization-wide members export from the Members tab in the club and league console, and only that export carries custom fields. Take the organization export.
TeamSnap describes itself as pay-as-you-go that can be canceled at any time, with no prorated refunds; team and organization plans auto-renew until canceled through your account or a support ticket. Club and league agreements may carry supplemental terms, so check yours.
Their published notes cover downgrades (photos kept 30 days, paid-feature data stored) and retiring a team as a read-only copy; we could not find a stated retention window after an organization cancels. Export first, then cancel.
Message and chat from the app or help center, with published hours (admins: message daily 8 AM to 6 PM CST, chat weekdays), and help@teamsnapone.com for TeamSnap ONE. Phone support is described as limited.
