Empathy over all
Every feature starts with understanding a real struggle: the overwhelmed parent, the coach drowning in admin, the athlete who just wants to play.
Our team lives and breathes sports, which means we understand the passion, the pressure and the pure chaos of running teams and events. Sketchplay is what we built about it.
It started in a driveway.
During covid, a conversation that had nothing to do with software turned into an argument about how badly sports management worked. Registration in one place, schedules in another, payments somewhere else, and a parent on a group text asking which field, again.
We talked ourselves out of it. Building software for youth sports is a crowded, unglamorous business and there were already plenty of tools. The idea got shelved.
Then a text from our first client changed the entire direction, and Sketchplay was born. They did not want another tool. They wanted the four they already had to stop disagreeing with each other. That is a different product, and it is the one we have been building ever since: one roster that registration, scheduling, communication, ticketing and scores all run off.
Four years from a driveway conversation to the platform clubs run their seasons on.

One platform instead of four. When you are managing several kids across several sports, you need tools that work intuitively, not another learning curve.
We see coaches staying late doing paperwork when they would rather be developing athletes. The platform takes the business headaches.
If the driveway story sounded familiar, we would like to hear from you. There are no openings posted at the moment, but we would still rather know you exist than not.
Thirty minutes, your actual schedule and roster on screen, and an honest answer about whether we are a fit.
