Frequently asked questions
Is the website really free?
Yes. A branded website is included with every Sketchplay plan at no extra cost. It carries your organization's name, logo, and colors, and it is built and hosted for you.
Can we use our own domain name?
Yes. Point your existing domain at your Sketchplay site and families see your address, not ours. If you do not have one yet we can start you on a Sketchplay address and move it later.
Do I need a web designer?
No. We build the site with you during onboarding. You supply your logo and colors and we handle the rest, so there is nothing to design, host, or patch.
Does the website update itself?
Yes. Schedules, rosters, registration, standings, and scores come straight from the platform, so publishing an event or a score updates the public site immediately. There is no second place to maintain.
How does the mobile app work?
Families download the Sketchplay app and your organization has its own space inside it, carrying your name and branding, with your schedules, announcements, scores, and payments. A fully white-labelled standalone app is on the roadmap.
What happens to our site if we leave?
Your domain is yours and your data is yours. You can export your data and point your domain elsewhere at the end of any billing month.
